Galvanized angle bars have excellent anti-corrosion properties. The galvanized layer can effectively prevent the steel substrate from rusting in harsh environments such as moisture, acid and alkali, thereby extending its service life.
American standard H-beam A36 is a carbon structural steel with excellent performance. It is made by adding a certain amount of alloy elements such as silicon, manganese, phosphorus, etc. to ordinary low-carbon steel. Its main component is iron, the carbon content does not exceed 0.2365%, the silicon content is between 0.15% - 0.40%, the manganese content is between 0.30% - 0.60%, and the phosphorus content is between 0.035% - 0.045%. The reasonable ratio of these elements makes A36 have excellent performance in strength, hardness and toughness. It also has excellent plasticity and weldability.
SS400 is a steel grade specified in the Japanese JIS standard, where SS stands for structural steel and 400 means its minimum tensile strength is 400MPa. Its main chemical components include carbon (C), silicon (Si), manganese (Mn), sulfur (S) and phosphorus (P). The carbon content is about 0.05-0.20%, the manganese content is about 1.40-1.75%, and it also contains a small amount of impurity elements such as sulfur and phosphorus. For SS400 angle steel, its chemical composition should comply with the provisions of JIS G3112, with a carbon content between 0.18%-0.28%, a silicon content between 0.12%-0.30%, a manganese content between 0.70%-1.00%, and a certain amount of phosphorus (P) and sulfur (S) elements to increase hardness and strength.
These types of angle steels are galvanized. The galvanized layer can provide the angle steels with good anti-rust and corrosion resistance, greatly extending the service life of the angle steels in different environments, and are especially suitable for environments with humid and corrosive media.
A36 and A572 Grade 50/60/65 are common structural steel materials, which are widely used in buildings, bridges and other structures.
A500 Grade B, C, and D square tubes all adopt the A500 standard issued by the American Standards Association (ASTM), and meet internationally recognized standards in terms of quality and performance. They are cold-formed welded and seamless carbon steel square tubes that can be used for welded, riveted or bolted structures of bridges and buildings, as well as general structural purposes. In terms of production specifications, the circumference of welded and seamless sizes is 64 inches (1626mm) or less, and the specified wall thickness is 0.625 inches (15.88mm) or less. Grade D requires heat treatment, and the steel density is about 7850 kg/m³ (0.284 pounds/cubic inch).
