Strong corrosion resistance
The hot-dip galvanizing process forms a dense zinc layer on the surface of the steel pipe, which can effectively isolate the steel pipe from the external environment, greatly slow down the corrosion rate of the steel pipe, and significantly improve the service life of the steel pipe. Whether in a humid industrial environment with chemical corrosive substances or in an outdoor exposed natural environment, it can show good corrosion resistance.
High strength
The steel pipe itself has a certain strength. After hot-dip galvanizing, although the zinc layer has limited direct improvement on strength, it can ensure that the steel pipe can maintain its structural strength for a long time due to the enhanced corrosion resistance during long-term use, and it is not easy to reduce strength due to corrosion.
Uniform coating
During the hot-dip galvanizing process, the steel pipe is completely immersed in the molten zinc liquid, so that the zinc layer can be evenly covered on the inner and outer surfaces of the steel pipe, including some parts with complex shapes. Good galvanizing effect can be obtained, avoiding the problem of premature corrosion due to the lack of local coating.

Compared with some pipes made of special materials or complex anti-corrosion treatment processes, the manufacturing cost of hot-dip galvanized steel pipes is relatively low.
