Mechanical properties:
Tensile strength is between 400 and 510MPa, and yield strength is about 245MPa. With the increase of plate thickness, yield strength decreases. The yield strength of steel plates with a thickness of less than or equal to 16mm is ≥245MPa, while the yield strength of steel plates with a thickness of more than 100mm is reduced to ≥205MPa. The elongation is usually ≥26%, and the impact energy is ≥27J, which indicates that it can maintain good plasticity, toughness and impact resistance when subjected to tension and impact.
Other properties:
It has good welding performance and can be connected and assembled by common welding methods (such as arc welding, gas shielded welding, etc.); it is easy to cut, weld and process into various shapes and sizes, which is convenient for application in different fields; although the corrosion resistance is relatively general, its service life can be extended by appropriate anti-corrosion treatment, and the wear resistance is also good.
