SPCC
It is the name of the general cold-rolled carbon steel sheet and strip steel in the Japanese standard (JIS). Many countries or enterprises directly use it to indicate the same type of steel they produce, such as Baosteel Q/BQB402 standard has SPCC. In its name, S stands for steel, P stands for plate, C stands for cold rolling, and the fourth C stands for common grade. The heat treatment states include annealing (A), annealing + flattening (S), (1/8) hard (8), (1/4) hard (4), (1/2) hard (2), hard (1), etc.; the surface processing states include pitted surface (D, the roller is shot peened after grinding), bright surface (B, the roller is finely processed by grinding); the surface quality includes the higher-level finishing surface FB (a small amount of defects that do not affect the formability and coating and plating adhesion, such as slight scratches, indentations, and oxidation color, etc.) and so on.
SPCD
Also follows the Japanese standard naming rules, the first code S represents steel, and the second code P represents plate. It is mainly used for stamping and drawing purposes, and the surface classification also has FB, FC, etc. The better side of the two sides of the FC product has no obvious defects visible to the naked eye, and the other side should at least meet the requirements of FB.
SPCE
In its naming, E stands for deep drawing grade (Elongation). When non-timeliness needs to be guaranteed, add N to the end of the grade to be SPCEN. The product requirements are high, and the better side of the two sides should not have defects that affect the appearance quality after painting or after electroplating, and the other side should at least meet the requirements of FB.
Uses
SPCC
Suitable for stamping occasions that do not involve drawing, and is often used for some ordinary stamping parts that do not require high stamping performance, such as some simple shells, brackets, etc. At the same time, due to its good surface quality and mechanical properties, it is also widely used in the field of home appliance manufacturing, such as some parts of home appliances such as refrigerators, air conditioners, and washing machines.
SPCD
Applicable to the occasions between the stamping requirements of SPCC and SPCE, and is often used for some parts that require certain stamping performance but do not require ultra-deep stamping, such as some automotive interior parts, small electronic equipment housings, etc.
SPCE
Mainly used in deep drawing process, suitable for manufacturing parts with complex shapes and large drawing depths, such as automotive body covers, housings of some precision instruments, etc.
