Product Highlights
Material characteristics: A572 Grade50 is a low-alloy high-strength steel plate. A small amount of alloy elements are added to the steel plate. Through a special heat treatment process, the strength and toughness of the steel plate are improved.
Diverse implementation standards and delivery status: The implementation standard is ASTM A572 Gr50, and the delivery status includes hot rolling, controlled rolling, normalizing, etc., which can meet different processing and use requirements.
Rich technical requirements: It can meet the requirements of flaw detection, Z-direction performance, high strength and high toughness, etc. The supply specifications are 8-300mm thickness, and the length and width can be changed and futures rolling can be ordered.
Chemical composition advantage: In its chemical composition, the content of each element is strictly regulated, such as C ≤ 0.23, Si ≤ 0.4, Mn ≤ 1.35, P ≤ 0.03, S ≤ 0.025, Nb between 0.005 - 0.05, and when the thickness is > 40mm, Si is 0.15 - 0.4; for every 0.01 reduction in C, Mn is allowed to increase by 0.06, with a maximum of 1.6. This reasonable combination of components guarantees the performance of the steel.
Good mechanical properties: yield strength ReL (MPa) ≥ 345, tensile strength Rm (MPa) ≥ 450, elongation A200 (%) ≥ 18, A50 ≥ 21%, with good strength and ductility.
