Plain bars
The bond performance between steel bars and concrete has an important influence on the seismic performance of concrete structures. Although its maximum bond stress under repeated cyclic loading is less than that under monotonic loading, its bond performance can be effectively utilized through reasonable design of factors such as concrete grade and embedment length. Studies have shown that the compressive strength of concrete has a positive effect on the maximum bond stress, while the embedment length has a negative effect. Based on elastic analysis and test data fitting, a bond stress-slip model is also established, which can be used to calculate the bond stress-slip relationship under different loads.
